I would really appreciate any advice or instructions when it comes to flying with dogs. I have to pick up 2 IG boys in Colorado and of course the best way to bring them home is by plane. However, I HAVE NEVER been in an airplane and must fly by myself.
For those of you that have travelled with a pet(s) can I handle 2 dogs the 2 hours flying from Denver to Calgary? I have heard that some dogs are nervous and noisy. According to the regulations of Air Canada the pet carrier can be no higher than 9". If that is all you can have then I won't be able to take the larger IG in the cabin as he is 15" at the shoulder.
I haven't booked the flight so I haven't contacted the airlines with some of these concerns but I wonder if any of you are "seasoned" travellers with your pets.
Thanks for any advice you can give me.
Linda
